The Macedonian Healthcare Ministry informed that 22 new coronavirus cases were diagnosed over the past 24 hours. Most of them were in the capital Skopje (15), followed by the hotbed of Debar – 4. Six people killed by gas explosion in Kumanovo
Last Sunday a gas explosion killed three children aged 8, 9 and 11 in the village of Romanovce, Kumanovo region. Seven other people were injured critically when a gas cylinder exploded in a house. Three of them passed away later in hospital, the number of victims reached now already six persons. The first coronavirus patient registered in Macedonia is a 50 year old woman who arrived from Milano/Italy, where she was visiting friends. The woman was treated for a cold, but was not tested for the potentially deadly virus before taking a minivan to Skopje, said Healthcare Minister Venko Filipce.
