Frodo Likes the Taste of Macedonian Food

Within the festival "Cinedays" on Saturday night, Macedonian audience had the opportunity to closely see the world-renowned actor Elijah Wood, known for his role as Frodo in the trilogy "Lord of the Rings".

Wood was a guest in a slight different appearance, not in the role of an actor but as a DJ. He is part of the music duo "Wooden Wisdom", and Saturday's performance was accompanied by DJ Feetz.

Two-hour musical set served by the Hollywood star could be heard in the Dancing hall at the Youth Cultural Centre. Full hall and his faithful admirers attended the official closing of the 15th edition of the Festival of European Film "Cinedays".

Elijah did not omit to address the audience to thank for their presence and invite them to enjoy what he and his fellow DJs had prepared.

"Good evening Skopje! This is my first visit to Macedonia and I must commend that you have great food. Now I assure you that for two hours you will hear great music", Wood stated at the beginning of the party.

Thirty-five-year-old Elijah Wood, had his breakthrough in the film industry when he was 8, and when he appeared in the movie "Back to the Future 2" which premiered in 1989.

In his career as an actor he is known for "Flipper" (1996), "The Good Son" (1993) and another ninety other film roles. He is still best known for the role of Frodo Baggins in the film trilogy "Lord of the Rings".

In 2005 he set up his own music label "Simian Records". In 2012, along with his friend Zack Covey they start to perform as DJs under the name "Wooden Wisdom aka DJ Frodo".
