Skopje Hosts Second Archeological Conference 'Neolithic in Macedonia II'

The second archaeological conference "Neolithic in Macedonia II" organised by the Center for Prehistoric Research (CPR) will be held in the Archaeological Museum of Macedonia in Skopje.

The conference is dedicated to the results of research Neolithic sites and material culture and will feature more archaeologists from Macedonia and abroad will present their research related to Neolithic sites in Skopje and Pelagonia region.

The collection of papers “Neolithic in Macedonia: new perspectives and insights” presented at last year’s conference will be promoted.

Bulgarian archaeologists Vasil Nikolov and Krum Bacvarov from the National Institute and Museum of Archaeology of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences are to deliver opening remarks at the conference.
