Macedonian champion Vardar scored a major win against Turkish Fenerbahce in their first Europa League qualifier at the Philip II of Macedon arena in Skopje. Estonia beat Macedonia in the crucial World Basketball Championship pre-qualifier and won first place in Group C. At the game in Tallinn, Estonia beat Macedonia 74 to 65, winning the game in the final quarter after an otherwise evenly tied match. Eurowings to launch Skopje-Munich route as of October

Guitarist Vlatko Stefanovski and the Bitola Chamber Orchestra will perform on Wednesday evening at the Ohrid Summer Festival. Stefanovski will present his Rock Symphony project, and will perform also accompanied by Mihajlo Trajkovski – Sak, Zarko Jakimoski and Bobi Mojsoski. The Bitola Chamber Orchestra, which began as an amateur group, now includes professional musicians who have worked with leading international musicians and will perform works from the early baroque period to to the Rock Symphony and the James Bond Symphony.
Macedonia: Finance Ministry issues bonds 43,93 million EUR
The Finance Ministry issued a new bond auction on Tuesday, amounting to 2,701 billion denars (43,93 million EUR). “We have issued 28 miliion EUR in bonds maturing at 12 months, with an interest rate of 1,85 percent, 1,3 million EUR in bonds maturing in five years with an interest rate of 2,5 percent and 14,4 million EUR in bonds maturing in 15 years, which carry an interest rate of 3,8 percent”, the Finance Ministry informed.
