Industrial production in January, compared to the same month in 2017, increased by 8.4 percent, the State Statistical Office said on Wednesday. Industrial production in section Mining and quarrying decreased by 0.3%, in section Manufacturing it increased by 16.9%, while in section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it decreased by 28.4%. The number of passengers carried in road passenger transport in the fourth quarter of 2017, compared to the same period of the previous year, increased by 3.3%, in urban-suburban transport decreased by 6.7, and in rail transport by 12.3%, whereas the number of passengers carried in air transport increased by 16.4%, the State Statistical Office said on Thursday. Macedonia, Serbia reach agreement over flour issue
Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy Ljupco Nikolovski and Serbian Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic signed Wednesday an agreement for settlement of the flour issue. The water level of Treska River near Makedonski Brod is almost three times higher in comparison to the March average, while the water levels of Vardar and Sateska have doubled, Monday's hydrological measurements show.
