Independent candidate shot in Kicevo died
Alit Abazi, an independent candidate list carrier for a seat in the Kicevo town council, who was shot a week ago, passed away at a Skopje-based clinic early on Thursday. Abazi was shot along with two other persons in downtown Kicevo on September 27 by Abdula Abdul, who has been detained.

The police informs that later on Wednesday evening, the independent list carrier for the Local election in Municipality of Kicevo Alit Abazi and the Head of his Pre-electoral Headquarters Setan Abdiu were shot. The attacker is identified by the police as Abdula Abdulau, who has been arrested an hour after the incident. Abazi and Abdiu were immediately hospitalised in the Kicevo hospital, and later transferred to the clinics in Skopje. EUR 470 Million Invested for Road Infrastructure in Ohrid-Struga Region
About EUR 470 million has been invested in road infrastructure in Ohrid-Struga region, leader of VMRO-DPMNE Nikola Gruevski informed. Speaking to reporters during his visit to Struga and the region he noted that major investment is the construction of the highway Kicevo-Ohrid, which is at an advanced stage and should be ready by the end of 2018.
