Heavy rainfalls are expected in Macedonia's west on Friday and leading up to Saturday, says the National Hydrometeorological Service.
There will be occasional rainfalls during the weekend, with snow forecast at mountains exceeding 2,000m above sea level.
The rest of the country will see overcast weather accompanied by moderate to strong west winds. Temperatures are expected to rise, resulting in snow melting.
The intensive rainfalls and snow melting could cause rivers to swell and flood certain areas, along with the possibility of landslides.
