Dense fog early Sunday has cancelled some of the planned departures and landings at Skopje Airport. According to the website of TAV Skopje Airport flight departures and arrivals to and from Istanbul are cancelled, as well as flight departures to Zagreb and Barcelona. Rehearsals for a musical in tribute to the late pop star Toshe Proeski have begun at the Macedonian Opera and Ballet (MOB). Officers from the European border agency Frontex have begun patrolling the border between Greece and Macedonia to deter illegal crossings by migrants, Frontex said on February 3.
