European handball champions Vardar will play French team Montpellier in the semifinals of the EHF Champions League, decided the draw held on Wednesday.
In an all-French matchup, HBC Nantes, with macedonian superstar Kiril Lazarov, goes against Paris Saint Germain in the second semifinal.
Lazarov set up a new Champions League record, he is the first player who reached the Final Four tournament with 4 different teams.
Vardar Skopje also has a chance for setting up a new record in the VELUX EHF Champions League, the Macedonians could be the first team to defend the title - no team so far succeeded in winning the cup twice in a row.
The Final Four tournament will be played in Cologne - Germany, Lanxess Arena, on May 26-27.
