Macedonian working on Ship Security dies in Indian Ocean


The Macedonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that a Macedonian citizen working for a South Korean company (HGS Korea) has died aboard their ship. Alongside several other Macedonian citizens, he was employed as ship's security, protecting the ship and its cargo from pirates.

The incident occured as the ship apprached the coast of Sri Lanka. The name or the reasons for the death hasn't been released, however it is known that the Macedonian citizen is a former ARM soldier and a resident of Shtip.
