Skopje Film Festival Marking 60th Anniversary of Hungarian Revolution


Freedom and Love-­Film Festival honoring 1956 Hungarian revolution and freedom fight will open Monday evening with the screening of “Play Your Own Game” film at the Cinematheque of Macedonia.

The festival will feature several historical movies among which Laszlo Nemes' Hungarian drama “Son Of Saul” that won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 2015.

"Hungarians in Krushevo" film will be screened Monday while “Children of Glory" podium discussion with Sándor Csányi will be held on Tuesday (November  8). The exhibition related to 1956 Hungarian revolution will also be opened during the festival.
