Macedonia: Elections set for December 11

Macedonia‘s parliament Tuesday set December 11 as the date for elections.


A majority of parliamentarians in the capital Skopje voted to set the date and to dissolve the current parliament.

The decision was approved by parliament speaker Trajko Veljanovski, meaning the electoral commission can begin to prepare for the election.

Parliamentary election were already delayed in April and June.
