The number of building permits issued in Macedonia decreased by 48.6% year-on-year to 189 in January, the state statistical office, Makstat, said on Friday. The estimated value of the construction projects covered by building permits issued in January fell by an annual 54.1% to 2.4 billion denars ($48 million/39 million euro), Makstat said in a statement.
