Ziadin Sela, leader of the Alliance of Albanians, accused the DUI party of perpetrating ethnic cleansing of Albanians in Macedonia with its continued corruption and failure to provide opportunities in the country. Albania to open general consulate in Struga
The Council of Ministers of Albania has decided to open a 'Consulate General' in the town of Struga, located in the southwestern region of Macedonia on the shores of the well known Ohrid lake. More than 160 ethnic Albanians are indicted for war crimes at Kosovo by Serbia's prosecutor's office for war crimes, reads daily "Blic" on Saturday. These are Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) members suspected of crimes on Serbian and non-Albanian population during the Kosovo conflict by the end of 1997 up to the end of the NATO bombings in 1999. Two Albanians with ISIS ties arrested for planning attacks in Macedonia
The Interior Ministry informed that two persons aged 23 and 24 were arrested a week ago over information that they were preparing acts of terror on Macedonian territory. The two were in contact with former fighters in the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. "As part of a wider regional operative action aimed at fighting terrorism, the Interior Ministry conducted searches at two sites, in Skopje and in Aracinovo on November 4th.
