A family drama, which ended in violence and an attack with a knife, took place in the home of Igor P. candidate for ambassador of Macedonia in Brussels, on the evening of August 20th, macedonian daily Vecer.mk wrote.
A diplomat from the Macedonian Foreign Affairs Ministry, who was about to be named Ambassador to Belgium, was stabbed by his wife five days ago.
According to the paper, Igor P. informed his wife that he is having an affair. The news shocked the wife, and once she came to, she grabbed a knife and stabbed the diplomat in his back and then in his arm.
Igor managed to subdue his wife and call an ambulance. The wife is being charged with domestic violence.
The Macedonian Ministry of Interior confirmed the case in the daily bulletin on August 21st.
- On 20.8.2020 around 20.15 in the SIA Skopje it was reported that on the street "Pitu Guli", after a family quarrel, B.P. injured I.P. with a sharp object. According to the report, previously I.P. he physically assaulted B.P., after which she inflicted a stab wound. The site was inspected by a team from SIA Skopje. Measures are being taken to clear up the case, according to the report of the Ministry of Interior.
