Macedonia interested in importing grain, sunflower, sugar, oil from Kherson region

The Republic of Macedonia is interested in importing grain, sunflower, sugar and oil from Kherson region.


Department of agro-industrial development of the Kherson Regional State Administration posted this on its Facebook page on Monday with reference to the information which Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Macedonia to Ukraine Stole Zmejkoski made public during his visit to Kherson region.

"Having met with the representatives of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Macedonia to Ukraine Stole Zmejkoski held a meeting with representatives of business in the Kherson Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Mr. Zmejkoski said the Macedonian side is interested in importing grain, sugar, oil and sunflower from Ukraine, particularly from Kherson region," the department reports.

As noted, the ambassador identified during the meetings the possible areas of cooperation between Kherson region and Macedonia, including the development of mutually beneficial trade.
