The Kosovan Basketball Federation was fined 1.000 EUR because of the disrespectful attitude of its fans who booed the Macedonian national anthem during the pre-qualifier match on August 2nd.
FIBA determined the fine after reviewing the tapes from the opening of the game. Kosovo won 72 to 68, playing in a hall full of its supporters.
On Saturday, Macedonia hosts Kosovo in a return match.
