Eight artists will take part in the 2017 Galicnik art colony, an event which will be held for the 28th time. The artists will reside in the mountainous village between August 15th and 22nd and will work inspired by its unique architecture, natural beauty and history.
Macedonian artists Ana Jovanovska and Angel Miov will be joined by Svetlana Volic from Serbia, Simon Dalemans from Belgium, Fidan Bejtulahu from Kosovo, Julia Hopkins from the United Kingdom, Renata Papista from Bosnia and Slovenian Rok Bogotaj. During their stay, the artists will also visit the monastery of St. John Bigorski, as well as Ohrid.
