Macedonian champions Vardar played a 1:1 draw away to Malmo in the first leg of the Champions League second qualifying round on Wednesday.
After a goalless first half, Vardar opened the scoring through Boban Nikolov in the 63. minute, but the hosts managed to salvage a draw after Franz Brorsson found the net in the 75. minute.
The return leg is played in Strumica next week.
