The 16th international Gevgelija art colony opens on Monday, with 10 artists from Macedonia, Serbia and Bulgaria. The Apolonia Foundation, which organizes the event says that the pictures will be inspired by Gevgelija and its surroundings.
"A novelty is that the artists will work for three days in the mountainous village of Huma, where the they will help restore the iconostasis on of St. Panteleimon church", said Ace Ristovski from the Apolonia Foundation.
Macedonian participants will include Dragi Hadzi Nikolov and Jordan Janev from Gevgelija.
