A sovereign and strong Macedonia and Macedonian people serves to benefit our mutual interests and we must support, not undermine, our important ally, stated the U.S. Representatives Dave Trott, who is co-chair of the bipartisan Congressional Caucus on Macedonia and Macedonian-Americans.
Trott, after the meeting with the representatives of the United Macedonian Diaspora (UMD) in the US, said that Macedonia has been a critical partner in advancing U.S. national security efforts around the world.
Furthermore, the Macedonian diaspora in the United States has been a critical part of our community and has contributed to the diversity and advancement of our entire nation, he underlined.
Trott met with George Peters, UMD Board member, Chris Evanoff, member of UMD Advisory Council, Mike McLauchlan, representative of Ilitch Holdings, Generation M/MASA youth leaders Ana Pancevska and Alek Vasilevski and discussed about Congressional Caucus on Macedonia and Macedonian-Americans.
