World swimming champs open, five Macedonian swimmers take part

The 13. FINA World Swimming Championships in a 25m pool opened late Monday in Windsor, Canada.

More than 1,000 swimmers from 176 countries take part, including Macedonia's Anastasija Bogdanovski, Gorazd Cepisevski, Damjan Petrovski, Marko Blazevski and Ljupco Angelovski.

The Macedonian community in Windsor has supported the Macedonian delegation, covering the accommodation, transportation and other costs during their stay.
