Gjorcheska jumps again on WTA ranking


Lina Gjorcheska noted jump of one position in the latest rankings list. Thus, the Macedonian player is now on the 180th position in the ranking of the world's best in this sport, the best ranking of her career.

Last week she reached the semifinals of the tournament in Rome, which was enough to advance one position in the previous ranking.

The new ranking brought a change at the top, so Angelica Kerber passed Serena Williams and climbed on the first place. The American, who will lack long after announced she was pregnant, now is a runner, and third place remained Plishkova Carolina. Simona Halep with winning the trophy in Madrid had a jump of four positions and is currently  4th before Cibulkova, Conta, Muguruca, Kuznetsova, Radwanska and Voznijacki.
