The first cases have been registered in the Macedonian towns of Ohrid, Stip and Gostivar. The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Macedonia increased to 70 after three more citizens tested positive for the infection on Friday, the country’s health ministry said. Early Christian Basilica found during construction work on new Stip – Kocani road
An early Christian era basilica was found during construction work on the new Stip – Kocani express way. The find was made near the village of Ziganci, and experts from the Stip museum have begun work to locate and preserve the valuable finds. "Comic Strip in Stip", exhibit of Aleksandar Stevanov
First solo show of comic strip works upon the texts by screenwriter Aleksandar Stevanov, who recently scooped award "Ljupco Filipov" for development and promotion of comic strip in Macedonia, will open in Stip-based university library "Goce Delcev" on Wednesday. The display includes about 50 comic strip-boards by several illustrators. The exhibit will run through by mid-December.

Macedonia starts construction of 16 mln euro Shtip-Negotino gas pipeline
A consortium of five Macedonian companies has started building a 36 km gas pipeline section between Shtip and Negotino, worth a total of 16 million euro, the country's ruling party VMRO-DPMNE said. Skopje - Shtip highway to be built by 2017
Prime Minister Emil Dimitriev and Transportation Minister Vlado Misajlovski said that 95 percent of the route of newly built Miladinovci - Stip highway has been prepared and 9 percent have been paved so far.
