Poll: 68 percent of Greeks against term Macedonia


A poll has showed that 68 percent of Greeks are against including term 'Macedonia' in the name, MIA reports from Athens.

A Marc poll for Greek newspaper Proto Thema shows that only 23.6 percent of respondents agree over the inclusion of term 'Macedonia' in a compound name.

According to the results, 63.8 percent of those who had a negative response are SYRIZA voters, while 67 percent of New Democracy followers also reject term 'Macedonia' in the name.
