Industrial production in the first quarter of 2017 dropped by 1,5 percent compared to the same period last year, informed the State Statistics Bureau.
Drops were recorded in the mining and quarrying sector (4,1 percent), and to a lesser extent in manufacturing (0,7 percent) and energy production (0,3 percent).
March 2017 saw a drop in industrial production of 0,9 percent compared to March 2016.
