Volleyball: Macedonia scores opening win in European League

The Macedonian men's volleyball team scored its opening win in the European League, beating Azerbaijan 3:0 in Skopje on Friday.
Macedonia won the first two sets by the same scoreline (25:19) and the final set by 25:20. In the Group A's other match, Albania narrowly beat Sweden 3:2 after being two sets down. On Saturday, Macedonia plays Albania, while Sweden goes against Azerbaijan. The top two teams from the group will qualify for the European League semifinals.
